Paraprofessional Webinar Series
Our Paraprofessional webinar series is ideal for both new and experienced paraprofessionals who support students with disabilities. The four-part series offers participants a comprehensive deep-dive into the role of a special education paraprofessional. This includes elements such as mindset, collaboration with teachers, behavior support strategies, and instructional strategies. Each session is approximately 60 minutes.
Paraprofessional participants will:
Identify the main drivers of maintaining high expectations for students with disabilities in inclusive settings.
Determine strategies to develop and maintain positive relationships with teachers.
Identify strategies to proactively support student behavior, and review methods for responding to challenging student behavior.
Understand the variety of supports and services available to students with disabilities and the paraprofessional’s role in implementation.
