Paraprofessional Webinar Series

Our Paraprofessional webinar series is ideal for both new and experienced paraprofessionals who support students with disabilities. The four-part series offers participants a comprehensive deep-dive into the role of a special education paraprofessional. This includes elements such as mindset, collaboration with teachers, behavior support strategies, and instructional strategies. Each session is approximately 60 minutes.

Paraprofessional participants will:

  • Identify the main drivers of maintaining high expectations for students with disabilities in inclusive settings.

  • Determine strategies to develop and maintain positive relationships with teachers.

  • Identify strategies to proactively support student behavior, and review methods for responding to challenging student behavior.

  • Understand the variety of supports and services available to students with disabilities and the paraprofessional’s role in implementation.
